Finally, a full day at home

It has been non-stop since I got back from Mongolia. First, I had to move. I had three weeks before I had to return the apartment. I moved several boxes a day. Then my father came to help. While he was here, we had to drive to Kochi, which took three days. I drove 12 hours each way. Then it was moving week for both me and my cousins. A day before we actually moved the last of the furniture, my cousins got a phone call. It was dreadful news. Their father had passed away due to his illness. As soon as we finished moving, or more like shoving things into the house, they had to prepare to go back to Mongolia for the funeral. That week was horrible.      Then it was time to look for a parking spot for the car. The house comes with a parking spot, but we have two cars, so we needed to find a spot for the second car. It was a stressful week right after my cousins had left for Mongolia, because I had to park the car at the coin parking since my cousin hadn’t f...

2024.10.02: Day 4

I walked 5 minutes faster than yesterday. I wrote the previous sentence with a huge smile.

I have noticed that my thoughts are walking faster than what my foot allows. For example: I think I can walk fast like people who walked past me, but that doesn't happen. That is one thing that I have noticed every time I leave my home in the morning. Well, eventually I will get there.

The swelling is down little by little. It will be a few more weeks before it goes down completely.

I almost sat my legs crossed. Of course, I couldn't be rough with my foot.

On the topic of my weight, I think it is going down. The reason why I use "think" is this. When I step on the scale and don't see any dramatic decrease, my mind starts saying "What is the point?" So, I have completely stopped weighing myself. Of course, I will do it at the end of the week which is Monday (my day off since I work on Saturday) for me.

Also, I measure my blood glucose here and there. The last one I took was a couple of days ago right before going to bed was 6.2 mmol/L (118mg/dL). Mine was within the normal range which is very good given my family history.

Hopefully, I will walk a little bit faster than yesterday. However, it rained and I have to be extra careful today.
