Going out is a hassle.

Today, I had a dental appointment. Going out in this heat, I didn't want to but I had to.  As soon as I open the door and step out, the humidity and the heat hit me. I immediately start sweating, and I can feel that my cap is getting wet. I was worried about my body because my stomach was weird last night which made me vomit.  Then as soon as you step into a carriage of the train, it is cold. I felt cold. The extremes of hot and cold affect my body. It sounds weird, but I usually get cold during the summer in Japan because of this.  My dentist got a new chair, and it looked very fancy. She told me that I need a small-headed toothbrush for my molars because my Oral-B head is not small enough to reach back there. So, I got one. On the way home, I stopped by the supermarket. Purchased avocados to make a toast. It was yum.  Right now, I am sitting and finishing my last assignments of a course I am taking online, and sweating.  Oh, I restarted my fasting and di...

2024.10.02: Day 4

I walked 5 minutes faster than yesterday. I wrote the previous sentence with a huge smile.

I have noticed that my thoughts are walking faster than what my foot allows. For example: I think I can walk fast like people who walked past me, but that doesn't happen. That is one thing that I have noticed every time I leave my home in the morning. Well, eventually I will get there.

The swelling is down little by little. It will be a few more weeks before it goes down completely.

I almost sat my legs crossed. Of course, I couldn't be rough with my foot.

On the topic of my weight, I think it is going down. The reason why I use "think" is this. When I step on the scale and don't see any dramatic decrease, my mind starts saying "What is the point?" So, I have completely stopped weighing myself. Of course, I will do it at the end of the week which is Monday (my day off since I work on Saturday) for me.

Also, I measure my blood glucose here and there. The last one I took was a couple of days ago right before going to bed was 6.2 mmol/L (118mg/dL). Mine was within the normal range which is very good given my family history.

Hopefully, I will walk a little bit faster than yesterday. However, it rained and I have to be extra careful today.
